Wapato High School is a member of the Central Washington Athletic Conference (CWAC) offering student athletes the opportunity to participate in 20 varsity sports.
Wapato High School has one of the Yakima Valley's highest graduation rates. It has been above 90% four of the past five years.
Wapato High School participates in the College in the Classroom program allowing students an opportunity to earn college credits from the University of Washington.
Wapato High School's Career and Technical Education (CTE) program provides students academic pathways in Bio-Medical Sciences, Engineering, and Video Production.
Wapato High School students participate in the NASA HUNCH program. It is one of just a few high schools in the United States chosen to provide their students this opportunity.
