WAPATO HIGH SCHOOL

Dear Parents/Guardians of Wapato High School Students,

 

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year at Wapato High School.  We are very excited to welcome our students back to school this fall.  Our goal is to have all students graduate from WHS on time, with their class, and provide an enjoyable high school experience for all students.   We have had success with high graduation rates over the last few years, and we are looking to continue this success in all grades and graduate all of our seniors on June 4, 2026 at the SunDome.  Once again, this year, we will be using ParentSquare as our main communication tool with families.  Please visit the ParentSquare Portal to sign-up and begin receiving communications from WHS.  

 

Here are some important dates for the start of the 2025-2026 school year:

Aug 11  - WHS Office Opens

Aug 13-15 & 18 - Seniors/Parents meet w/Counselors for Graduation Plan 8:00 am - 2:30 pm

Aug 18  - New Student Registration - 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Aug 18  - Fall Sports Parent Night - 6:00 pm - WHS Commons

Aug 20  - Football and Cheer practices begin

Aug 20  - Freshmen Orientation (Freshmen students only - Please no parents at this event. Parents are welcome to come to the open house) - 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm - Students please show up between 3:15 pm -3:30 pm.

Aug 20  - Open House (Open to all students and families)  - 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm 

Aug 25  - First Day of School - Bell rings at 7:30 am

Aug 25  - Cross Country, Girls Soccer, and Volleyball practices begin

Sept 5   - Picture Day
