Dear Parents/Guardians of Wapato High School Students,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Wapato High School.  We are very excited to welcome our students back to school this fall.  Our goal is to have all students graduate from WHS on time, with their class, and provide an enjoyable high school experience for all students.   We have had success with high graduation rates over the last few years, and we are looking to continue this success in all grades and graduate all of our seniors on June 5, 2025 at the SunDome.  This year, Wapato High School is happy to be using ParentSquare as our digital communication tool to communicate with families.  Please visit https://www.parentsquare.com/ to sign-up to receive communications from WHS.  

Here are some important dates for the start of the 2024-2025 school year:

Aug 12  - WHS Office Opens

Aug 14-16 & 19 - Seniors/Parents meet w/Counselors for Graduation Plan 8:00 am - 2:30 pm

Aug 19  - New Student Registration - 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Aug 19  - Fall Sports Parent Night - 6:00 pm - WHS Commons

Aug 21  - Football and Cheer practices begin

Aug 21  - Freshmen Orientation (Freshmen students only - Please no parents at this event. Parents are welcome to come to the open house) - 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm - Students please show up between 3:15 pm -3:30 pm.

Aug 21  - Open House (Open to all students and families)  - 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm 

Aug 26  - First Day of School - Bell rings at 7:30 am

Aug 26  - Cross Country, Girls Soccer, and Volleyball practices begin

Sept 6   - Picture Day
